Warm glass is the creation of glass art through firing the glass in a kiln as opposed to hot glass which is blown glass. As you can see from the pictures, I really enjoy this technique and am busy exploring the possibilities this art form contains. The first rule in warm glass is that glass does what glass wants. That allows for unexpected results making this one challenging art form!
All pieces are hand made. Sometimes the pieces are very structured as in the glass quilting (a lot of highly exacting cutting and hand work!), sometimes they remind me of walking through a field of wildflowers, and sometimes they just appeal to me in some indefinable way. Hopefully they will appeal to you as well.
