Many of the paintings on this page are portraits of people's pets.  However, all these portrait share the same technique which can be likened to trying to create a picture with layers of transparent cellophane paper.  Each is developed using several layers of paint to create the detail you see in the paintings. When the painting is final (and sometimes in between layers as well), the piece is baked to set the paint. Dimension given below are in inches.
